Nutmeg Milk Tea
Good Morning Everyone!
Lately, as you all know, I've been putting nutmeg on everything that I make: eggs, oatmeal, cookies, etc... So, with researching nutmeg as a something that is really great for your body, I found that it's really good for self awareness, it soothes stomach aches, it also can aid sleep, helps with blood circulation, and helps treat kidney infections. With this past week's endeavors, I needed something to calm my nerves. With researching golden milk tea and the properties of turmeric, I decided to take my own spin on it and to make something a little more light.
Ingredients and Utensils
Yields 1 large cup of Milk Tea
1 and 1/2 cups Milk ( or Vegan substitute )
1 tablespoon grated nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon raw cocoa
1 tablespoon raw honey
A small sauce pot
Whisk or Wooden Spoon
1. In your small pan, put on medium heat, until the milk is warm and not boiling.
2. Whisk in your nutmeg, cocoa, honey until combined
3. Take off the stove and add vanilla.
The mixture comes out as this light mauve color that is to die for. Your house will smell like a cool fall morning and all you'll want to do is grab a book (Like Plato's Symposium) and curl up with a big cup of this delicious brew.
I hope you guys have a lovely rest of your weekend ! I have a big announcement coming this next week! Stay tuned! Much Love!
