Happy Tuesday Everyone!

I hope y'all had an amazing labor day weekend! If you're not in the states, I hope you had a great weekend. Today, I want to talk about a new company called Maapilim. My friend, Doron, the co-founder at Maapilim, sent over a little goodie box of their products. With loving the packaging and their social media, I instantly knew, I could get behind their products. My skin is extremely sensitive to different products and I'm always worried that something will happen to my skin. But I tried out all of the products that Doron sent to me and we're all good to go. In the box was a bottle of beard oil, a bottle of soap, a face mud, and the coolest wood comb. With never really getting into face masks/face muds, I am now hooked on this stuff. I use it when I had a rough day when a pick me up is needed. The beard oil smells divine, and my parent's have fallen in love with the soap.

(I wanted to do some photos that were strongly inspired by the sea, so I utilized pictures from the ocean to bring out the meaning of Maapilim)

We are Maapilim, makers of grooming essentials from the Great Sea, which is the historical name of the Mediterranean. Our products are created with the region’s iconic natural oils and extracts, that are known for their benefits to the skin and hair. These ingredients have been used in the region for thousands of years as it was part of the spice route connecting Asia, Africa and Europe. We aim to bring this historic knowledge into our products using innovative technologies that combine the best of the past and the present.

Maapilim laid its roots in 2015 in Tel Aviv, on the balmy coast of the Great Sea. Inspired by the city’s electric energy, we set out to create products that reflect life here: vibrant, lush, and defined by the tide.

We celebrate the culture and history of our sea—venturing into the world, riding every wave that comes your way unshaken. Discover yourself in the Great Sea.
