First Farmer's Market Run
Remembering the days of when I would pick produce with both sets of my Grandparents during the summer months really made me miss those cool dewey moment's of horticulture. So in knowing that Grand Rapids has a couple farmer's markets happening throughout the summer, I wanted to grab some produce from the local farmers. I message my good friend Kristin of "Everything's Always Sunny" to ride along in the adventure. We first grabbed a cup of coffee at lightfast then made our way to the Fulton Farmer's Market. As we walked the market, I was contemplating on what I should get. As I scanned, I found these delicious plums and peaches from a local farm and thought "hmmm maybe a stone fruit galette would be perfect for this weather". I grabbed a couple of bundles and then saw these beautiful stalks of dill. I've never actually saw dill weed in it's natural state but wow, I was mesmerized. I grabbed a couple of bunches and then we started to make our way back to the car. Here are some pictures from the afternoon.
Have an awesome weekend everyone! My West Elm event is tomorrow so I'll probably be running around like a mad man... See you guys soon!
