Ann Arbor Coffee Guide 1: Lab Coffee
Good Afternoon Everyone~
Today I'm bringing you a new coffee guide. But this one is one that is somewhat of a hidden jem and I kind of want to keep it that way. As of lately, I've noticed a trend in design and branding. A lot of coffee shops and other boutiques have less branding than they used to. It seems to become word of mouth and or you see their logo at their location and that is it. With visiting some coffee shops and seeing their shops in motion, this is one that fits that category. A lot of people honestly don't know about Lab in Ann Arbor. I didn't hear about it until Meredith told me about it awhile back. There isn't a lot of signage, you honestly have to stumble upon it. But this is one of my favorite coffee shops. Not just for the coffee but the interior space as well. This space breathes light, minimality, and somewhat the aesthetic of kinfolk. There's whimsicality yet it's sophisticated. The walls are white, there's foliage everywhere, the bar is covered in delicious pastries, and the bottles of wine a delicious. It was honestly my first time ever having a lavender mocha...Let me tell you...I don't drink latte's or mocha's often but dang. This mocha was heavenly. With wanting to know more about to shop, I asked if the owner was in but they weren't sadly. But that didn't stop me from taking a photos. Lab is located in the heart of Ann Arbor and if you find it. You will never forget the beautiful ambiance, the amazing baristas, and the beautiful light beaming through the windows.
