Cloud Eggs

Good Morning Everyone,

With being busy, I haven't been able to get back into my routine of food styling. With school finishing up and taking a bit of break (along with being extremely uninspired...more on that later) I haven't taken the time to fully dive deep into doing recipes. With Wednesday being my day off from my weekly job, I made some time for myself to get into the kitchen. Being an advocate for breakfast food, I knew I wanted to get back into it with my favorite food; eggs. I've been seeing this trend going around on making "cloud eggs". When I saw the video by food 52 on youtube, I grabbed my whisk and started working the egg whites in the new bowl that my parents brought back from their trip to Vermont. Let's get cracking! (see what I did there?)

Ingredients

2 Eggs

Parmesan Cheese (more the merrier)

1 Tsp Salt

1 Tsp Pepper

1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper

1 Tsp Garlic Salt

Olive Oil for Drizzling

Recipe

Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit

Step 1: Grab two bowls. Separate your eggs putting your whites in a large bowl and your yolks in a smaller bowl.

Step 2: Whisk together your eggs whites until white and fluffy. Soft peaks are what you're looking for.

Step 3: When you finish whisking your eggs, grate in parmesan, and add your spices. Add anything that you'd like. Fold in after adding other ingredients. Do not whisk.

Step 4: On a sheet pan or a shallow baking dish either use parchment paper or aluminum foil (use cooking spray if using aluminum foil) and spoon your egg white mixture into little mounts.

Step 5: With your thumb, make a little well into the egg whites for you yolk.

Step 6: Bake in the oven for 3 minutes. They should be lightly brown

Step 7: Pull egg whites out of the oven and place yolk into the well.

Step 8: Bake for another 3-4 minutes

Step 9: Serve and Enjoy !

Enjoy!
