Vanilla Cinnamon Ice Cream

When I was looking at recipes while I was up north, I found a two ingredient recipe for ice cream on my friend Michael's blog INSPIRED BY CHARM. I was asking my mom what she wanted me to make because whenever I'm home with my family, I'm usually in the kitchen making something. She asked me if I could make ice cream. It was almost oddly synergistic in how things came about. So in doing that, I wanted to give this two ingredient ice cream a try.

: Ingredients and Utensils :

Adapted from Inspired by Charm

1 14oz can of Sweetened condensed milk.

2 Cups heavy whipping cream

Whatever flavors you want to add to your ice cream. I used 2 tbs Vanilla extract and 1 tsp cinnamon.

1 tbs honey

A stand mixer (whisk or hand mixer)

A bowl

A freezer safe container

Wax Paper

: Recipe :

Step 1: Put your heavy whipping cream in your stand mixer and whip until stiff peaks

Step 2: In a separate bowl mix your sweetened condensed milk and your flavorings and honey together.

Step 3: When your heavy whipping cream is done, fold gently into your sweetened condensed milk.

Step 4: Put mixture into your freezer safe container

Step 5: Cover ice cream with wax paper so ice crystals don't from. I literally press the wax paper in and around the container.

Thank you to Michael for posting such a lovely recipe. It was the perfect simple recipe for Up North living. Go check out INSPIRED BY CHARM! Michael's work is amazing!
