The Harless + Hugh Public House Opening

Good Morning Everyone!

Today, I want to talk about a little piece of home. But not in Chesaning where I grew up. Over the years of blogging, I've really come accustomed to the downtown Bay City culture. With both the Harless + Hugh coffee shop and flea, the antique shops, Alberts, and the delicious food; I like to call it my little home away from home. I've been friends with Lyndsay and Julia of Harless + Hugh in the early years of the blog. I remember walking into the coffee shop back then, and I was greeted by Lyndsay and we talked coffee and the blog. Whenever I visit my parents back in Chesaning, If I could, I would make time to head up to Bay City. When I did the gathering/food styling class at the coffee shop, I knew that I had found family. A family that I'd never trade for the world. Last Friday night, Lyndsay and Julia opened up their 4 year long project: The Public House. I vowed that I'd come to the opening night of the event and I sure as hell made my way to my home away from home. The H + H Public has been a 4 year long project and let me tell you. When I saw my friend's as they opened the door to their new bar, It was the most beautiful thing I've seen in a long time. Featuring tables made by Gather Table Co. and leather seats made by Douglas & Co.  Here are the pictures from the afternoon:

If you guys want to check out The Public House to grab a delicious cocktail, here's the map to the bar. The ambiance is beautiful and the bar is stunning. Congrats to Lyndsay and Julia!
