Morning hygge with Lostine
Good Morning Everyone,
With this semester being as crazy as ever, It's always a blessing to take a moment to breathe and relax. I usually have mornings off on Friday so I wanted to post this post because it's nice to just relax and have a hygge to myself. Lately, I've been noticing that these moments are for reflection and I can tell that there has been a shift from 2017 to 2018 in a way that I've become less controlled and more go with the flow. I cant tell how or when this shift happened but it's honestly really nice. But I digress. Today I'm featuring a beautiful piece from Lostine and I'm also previewing my bedroom that I'm still working on. My mother has always been the person to decorate her house with antiques of various kinds ranging from nautical to primitive Americana. and you could say I've started doing the same. I've started picking pieces that are reminiscent of an antique store and the Scandinavian design that I've loved and researched for the past couple of years. With it being a slow process, I'm thankful for Lostine for sending me this beautiful wire "hold everything". It's extremely reminiscent of both my nautical past and my farmer-esque upbringing and it also brings me a sense of home. With growing up in farming country and then being a city transplant, you can usually see me running through my polaroids of my home town because I'm honestly one of the most nostalgic person that I know. With saying that, my memory is constantly going back to home and snatching up memories of the summers that I spent running through the fields and making wine with Grandma and Grandpa Boyd.
Here's a little more about Lostine:
