Foster Flint: #FLINTFWRD
When "fostering community" is a big part of your life, you immerse yourself into just that, community. And let me tell you, this is a big one today. I've been friends with the Foster Coffee Company crew ever since they had their booth at the Owosso farmer's market. I can remember it to this day. Little ole me walking up to the bar asking for a pour over as I was being greeted by Nick, one of the owners of Foster. From that point, a grand opening in Owosso, roasting beans, and now they have opened up their second location in Flint, Michigan. Don't run away when I saw Flint. The world preserves it as a dangerous place. Don't get me wrong, some parts are not safe, but they're trying to bring it back. And I think that Foster is going to be a big part of that. Just helping build the community and bringing people together is a huge part of reviving a town/city. The new coffee shop is in downtown Flint, down the street from the UofM campus. The space is gorgeous and any aesthe will drool over the gorgeous marble bar and the marble signage.
